Immanuel NYC Implements Cell Church System

January 1, 2015

Immanuel Community Church in New York is taking steps towards realizing the formation of cell groups among the congregants. Preliminary discussions and plans have been discussed and a meeting with potential cell groups leaders is set to take place this week.

The adaptation of the cell group system is very important in a city like New York. Greater unity and accountability can be maintained when large groups are divided for smaller networks of communication.

The small group leaders will have the responsibility of creating more small groups. They will meet once a week for Bible study and fellowship and even set times for evangelism. The communication should flow continually so as to support one another in the faith throughout the week.

NY Immanuel staff hope that this system can refresh the faith of all members and revive mission in the church.
